SSL - Secondary slits
Secundary Slits
The secondary slits are located at the end of the optical hutch. The main function is to clean the central beam from the diffuse scattered X-rays originated at each optical element, especially at the second mirror. In addition, they can be used to define the shape and dimension of the beam for particular applications. The maximum slits course is large enough to ensure the correct alignment of the slits for the different configurations of the second mirror.
