An introductory guide: ``FIT2D: An Intorduction and Overview'' is
available as is a Reference Manual which covers in detail use of
FIT2D. The reference manual is presently over 300 pages long
and contains an extensive index.
Users are not expected to read the manual completely, but to use it as a
reference, using the index to find information on the necessary commands needs
to perform a particular task.
(The programs are hopefully self-evident and contain much on-line
help information, but for more detailed explanation the reference manual
will need to be consulted occasionally.)
