CM02 - Structural Biology Cryo-Electron Microscope, Titan Krios G4 (Thermo Fisher Scientific) - French CRG
CM02 is a Titan Krios G4 (Thermo Fisher Scientific), equipped with a cold FEG, a Selectris X energy filter, and a Falcon 4i electron detector. It is operated as a ESRF CRG beamline. One third of the beam time is allocated to ESRF users while the rest is available for French laboratories through a curated process. This cryo-electron microscope is able to carry out single-particle and tomography experiments.
CM02 is part of the "France Cryo-EM" infrastructure financed by the “Plan Investissement d'Avenir 3” scheme which has enabled the purchase of 3 state-of-the-art 300 kV cryo-electron microscopes in France. It is maintained and operated by a team of 5 people from the IBS/ISBG (Grenoble).
