- Frequently Asked Questions
How can I register a class?
Please contact us to register a class for the Synchrotron@School programme. Registrations are usually open from September to mid-October for a participation in the same school year.
I'm a teacher. Where can I find all the information I need for the participation of my class in this programme?
Simply contact us and we will give you all the details.
How much does it cost?
Synchrotron@School is free of charge (lunch is also included) for the participating high school (students and accompanying persons). However, we do not arrange or pay for transportation and accommodation.
What is the timetable of a typical Synchrotron@School day?
The day usually starts at 09:00 and ends at 16:30.
Can several classes come at the same time?
Our capacity is 15 to 36 students. The students must all have the same level. Some activities are proposed in different versions and this would create problems if there are mixed levels of knowledge among the students.
What material is needed?
Students are divided into 9 groups of 3 or 4. Each group should have a camera containing a removable memory card. Students will also need a calculator, a pen and paper to take notes.
What are the conditions for entering the EPN Campus?
Access to the site is subject to prior receipt by our services of the complete list of names, birthdates, birthplaces and nationalities for each participant and accompanying person. The minimum age required to access the site is 15. On the day, a document proving identity must be presented at the site entrance (national ID card or passport). Security is very tight and no exceptions can be made.
