My research focuses on the properties of condensed matter materials studied using X-ray spectroscopy techniques. I am interested in material properties such as strongly correlated electronic systems and low-dimensional spin systems, unconventional superconductivity, surface order, charge density waves, spin density waves, complex phase diagrams, localization/correlation interfaces, etc. Techniques include soft and hard X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), EXAFS, X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD), angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), and resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS).
