Call for PapersDear Colleague, The aim of this workshop is to bring together experimenters and theorists interested in the study of collective dynamics and relaxation phenomena in disordered condensed matter to discuss the contribution to the field of the inelastic X-ray scattering technique as a complement to other experimental methods and theoretical approaches. A further aim of this workshop is to provide an opportunity to discuss challenging perspectives for future studies in increasingly interesting areas such as materials in extreme conditions, and materials with mesoscopic organisation: polymers, macromolecules, soft matter and, possibly, biologically interesting compounds. The workshop will feature four sessions with invited speakers. A poster session on Monday will provide the forum for intensive discussions. The workshop is open to all who are interested. If you or your students would like to contribute a paper in the form of a poster, please send an abstract by e-mail as an attached Word document (see template) to Myriam Dhez. The deadline for poster abstracts is 17th January 2003. The registration fee, which includes the Workshop and Users' Meeting fee is 110 Euro. Limited support for students is available. Please contact the organizers for further information. Looking forward to meeting you,
