Users' Meeting Joint Poster Session

A Joint Poster Session will be organized on Tuesday 4^th February (18:00 - 19:30), under the marquee, for the posters submitted for the following events:

• "Users' Meeting Plenary Session"
• "High Pressure Science" workshop

Note: the poster session of the workshop "Functional Materials for Electronics" will take place on Monday 3^rd February, under the marquee, and the posters will still be displayed during the Users' Meeting poster session of Tuesday 4^th February.

The posters will be grouped and displayed per event ("Users' Meeting", High Pressure Science" workshop and "Functional Materials for Electronic" workshop): so please make sure that you register your poster, via the electronic registration form, for the event to which it is related to facilitate its further processing.

All posters submitted for the Users' Meeting and the associated workshops are eligible for the Users' Meeting Best Poster Award.

Important

Posters registered after the registration deadline (21^st January 2014) might NOT be included in the booklets.
 

Posters submitted for the workshops

• A poster abstract is required;
  The workshops' participants must submit their poster abstract via the appropriate section of their electronic registration form, to allow the processing of the posters via the event registration application (details on submission and template can be found in the workshop information web pages);
   
• The workshops' participants who wish their poster to be eligible for the Users' Meeting Best Poster Award must also upload a PDF file of their poster, whose size must not exceed 10 MB, in the section "Documents to submit" of their registration form.

Posters submitted for the Users' Meeting

The participants of the Users' Meeting (4 - 5 February) are strongly encouraged to submit posters on their recent work. Posters must be registered using the appropriate section "Documents to submit" of the electronic registration form, where the participants must provide:

• the name of the author(s): please specify with the submission which authors are students,
• the poster title,
• the field of research to which the poster belongs,
• save and register your poster under your FAMILY NAME to facilitate its further processing (i.e.: SMITH_UMPoster.pdf for a poster submitted by J. Smith)

• Do NOT SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT for a poster submitted for the "Users' Meeting".

Best poster award

An award will be made for the best poster submitted for the Users' Meeting and Associated Workshops. The posters will be judged by the eight members of the Users Organization and the winner announced at the Users' Meeting dinner, on Tuesday 4^th February.

If you wish your poster to be eligible for the best poster prize, please upload, via your electronic registration form, a PDF file of your poster whose size must NOT EXCEED 10 MB.

The uploaded posters will remain confidential and visible for evaluation only to the ESRF Users Organization committee.

 !! ONLY posters for which we have received a PDF file will be eligible for the ESRF Best Poster Award !!
