The Circular Materials Conference is the nordic forum on the circular use of materials and takes place this year in the town of Skelleftea, near to where the Northvolt Ett battery factory is located.

Gary Admans, ESRF, and Veronica Lattzani, DTI, will be hosting a stand to present the ReMade@ARI project at the conference. Please come to meet us!

The focus areas of the conference align very well with the materials research areas targeted by ReMade@ARI, and include plastics, metals from secondary sources, electronic waste, critical materials, battery metals, iron and steel making, and building materials.

ReMade@ARI aims to be present at many events during the next 12 months to raise awareness in communities linked to the circular economy about the possibilities of support for materials research from the 50 research infrastructures involved in the project. ReMade@ARI is a 4 year project, coordinated by HZDR and involving 44 partners, with funding of 13.8 million EUR. It unites some of Europes foremost research infrastructures from the ARIE network (arie-eu.org) comprising synchrotrons and XFEL, neutron sources, lasers, electron microscopes, ion and positron beams, and high magnetic field facilities.
