Partners involved in the beamline construction
The Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia (MEC) trough the former Secretaría General del Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica y Desarrollo Tecnológico proposed in 1996 to the ESRF the construction of a multidisciplinary and multipurpose beamline as a Collaboration Research Group (CRG). The construction leadership was taken by ICMM-CSIC with the collaboration of other groups. The following table shows all involved institutions in this project.
Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid, CSIC was in charge of the coordination between different institutes involved in the beamline project and was responsable of the design and construction of the infrastructure and beamline optical components www.icmm.csic.es |

CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, medio-ambientales y Tecnológicas) was in charge of the design and adquisition of the beamline control electronic: www.ciemat.es |

Universidad Autónoma de Madrid was in charge of the design and constuction of the Surface X-ray Diffraction station at branch B: www.uam.es |
Instituto Eduardo Torroja, CSIC was in charge of the design and construction of the High Resolution Powder Diffraction station at branch A: www.ietcc.csic.es |
