beam position monitor 2009
photographs taken on 13th March 2009
This beam position monitor, developed by R.G. van Silfhout of Manchester University, gives information on the X-ray beam profile as well as the beam position. It can be used with a feedback loop on the optics to stabilise the X-ray beam. It is useful for Ti edge XAFS. Reference: O. Rico-Alvarez, A. Kachatkou, J. Marchal, B. Willis, K. Sawhney, N.
