ESRF users: register now for the annual meeting!

The ESRF is nearing completion of the first phase of its Upgrade Programme that has seen significant changes made to more than half of its beamlines. With the expected Phase II of the Upgrade Programme in the conception stage, the meeting will host exciting exchange among users, beamline staff and Management on the present and future of the ESRF.

The plenary meeting will host five lectures by invited speakers on recent major scientific advances in a range of different research fields. Parallel sessions and workshops will provide participants with plenty of opportunity to find out about and discuss the large spectrum of ESRF activities.

Associated workshops

Three satellite workshops will engage participants in the areas which could benefit directly from the new science made possible through a low-emittance storage ring lattice, the ambitious next step of the ESRF Upgrade Programme.

Young Scientist Award

As each year during the meeting, the ESRF User Organisation will announce the winner of the 2014 Young Scientist Award. The award is presented for outstanding work done at the ESRF by a scientist aged 35 or younger. The deadline for nominations is Friday, 13th December 2013.
