ID10EH1 Users Guide
A Users Guide to ID10 EH1 - Liquid Surface/Interface Scattering endstation
This is a user guide to the ID10 EH1 beamline. We hope that you as a user will be able to find the answer to most of your questions here. The user guide will focus on the things that are necessary to know in order to be able to perform a successful experiment. This in particular covers a description of the facilities available in the experimental hutch but also a description of the control hutch with all the computer equipment and the chemistry laboratory. The user guide also contains a "trouble shooting" section.
In general, the local contact will help you aligning the beamline and mounting your sample when you arrive. The local contact will also teach you how to run the beamline so you afterwards, hopefully can perform a successful experiment.
Please remember that before you start the experiment you should follow a Safety Training Course. This can be done any time at the Guest House or in rooms around the ring.
In case of technical problems at the beamline outside normal working hours, look in the "trouble shooting" section or contact the floor-coordinator (phone 25-25, on call 24/24hrs).
