Programme
Aim & Scope
This microsymposium aims to highlight recent studies that make use of advanced in situ and operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy in the field of chemistry and materials science. Examples of state-of-the-art experimental approaches (combination of different techniques, HERFD XAS, tomography, etc), as well as novel data analysis procedures (chemometrics, machine learning, neural networks, etc) are especially welcome. The main goal is to push forward the frontiers of applicability of the XAS methods to chemical problems, and introduce users to the experimental techniques and/or data analysis strategies that can shed light on previously inaccessible aspects of structure-performance relationships of catalysts and functional materials.
