Scope of the workshop
The aim of the Workshop is to assess the present possibilities of absorption spectroscopy at the ESRF and at other 3rd generation sources in a few selected areas of research and to attempt to define directions for future developments.
Emphasis is given to time-resolved studies, investigation of matter in extreme conditions of temperature and pressure and at high energies and microprobe techniques.
The Workshop is divided in 4 sessions and a common poster session. On the average, each session will feature 6-7 lectures.
The registration fee, which includes the abstract booklet, 2 meals in the onsite restaurant and the coffee breaks, is 50 euro. You are invited to participate in the workshop dinner in the evening of June 19th which will take place in a traditional French restaurant, in Grenoble or its surroundings. In this case please count an additional 30 euro, which is the actual price of the dinner.
Limited support for students is available, please contact the organisers.
Looking forward to meeting you in Grenoble.
