Application for beamtime will follow a rapid access model and can be made at any time. Those who wish to apply (excluding members of ESRF MX BAG Groups) should use the mechanism below.

It must be clearly indicated in the title of the proposal that the application is for BioSAXS beamtime on BM29.

1 New proposal.PNG Submit the online request for beamtime
  • Create a new proposal.
  • Fill the different parts of the proposal:
    • Proposal form.
    • Declare all samples for your proposal.
    • Complete the appropriate “Rolling project description” form (templates below) and upload it as a pdf file to your online proposal.
  • Submit the proposal - remember to check the content by clicking on the pdf link before submission as no further editing will be possible after submission.
  • Your proposal will immediately be assigned a final Proposal_ID (e.g. "MX-XXXX") and transmitted electronically to the internal and external reviewers.
2 If approved and awarded beamtime:
Sample Sheets.PNG Register any additional sample sheets for the samples to be studied using the “Manage Samples” action of the proposal.
