Equipment which is available for experiments using the HPMX laboratory includes:

  • A wet lab to handle and prepare your samples
  • A high pressure cooling system with a He/Ar compressor, up to 2000bar
  • A medium krypton pressure cell, up to 150 bar
  • A medium oxygen pressure cell, up to 80 bar
  • A computer to run the cells
  • The cryogenic tools necessary to handle and store the samples
  • A fridge to store chemicals
  • A fume hood to handle sensitive samples, chemicals or gases
  • A safety equipment to work at cryogenic temperatures (gloves, goggles)
