3D rendering of a Jurassic juvenile ammonite     

Cover image: 3D rendering of a Jurassic juvenile ammonite (about 155 million years old) from France. The shell was removed digitally to reveal the internal structures. The superimposed colours correspond to the 3D topology of this internal shell surface.
