Tutorials
On Monday 15 February from 15:30 to 18:30 there will be two tutorials:
- Introduction to PDF Analysis
- Introduction to X-ray emission (XES, RIXS) and X-ray Raman spectroscopy
Aim and Scope
This microsymposium aims at attracting users in the fields of:
- catalysis, coordination chemistry, materials science, electro-chemistry, etc.
- environmental sciences, geosciences, life sciences
There is an increasing number of experimental techniques being developed at the ESRF for chemical studiess studies. Examples are X-ray emission spectroscopy, resonant inelastic X-ray scattering, X-ray Raman spectroscopy, PDF analysis combined with CT, high energy powder diffraction, full field XANES, nano XEOL, modulation enhanced techniques, etc. Users are encouraged to present such advanced experimental techniques, or additional possibilities recently made available at the ESRF. The overall objective is to enlarge the user community and introduce users to techniques that they have not been aware of.
