Python Version of HAMA
Wavelet2.py is a Python code to calculate the Wavelet transform of EXAFS spectra and to present the results in graphical view. It is developed by Marina Chukalina.
To create a standalone installation download the zip file below and extract the files to a directory where Python can find them. Do not use long paths. Prior to that you should have installed Windows Python 2.2.3, Numerical Python (Numeric-22.0.win32-py2.2.exe), and PIL (PIL-1.1.4.win32-py2.2.exe).

NOTES
- you can process model or real spectra
- a description of the model spectra is given in the manual
- the spectra have to have equidistant spacing
- the calculation result is a 3D distribution
- the output data format is ASCII
