Four User-Dedicated Microsymposia will be held on Monday 9th February (afternoon) and Wednesday 11 February on the following scientific topics:

UDM1. "Novel routes for the study of strongly correlated electron systems"

UDM2. "New possibilities for chemical studies"

UDM3. "Hierarchical imaging of biological, bio-mimetic and bio-compatible materials"

UDM4. "Structural biology at the ESRF - more than crystallography"

Users are invited to be part of these events by proposing contributions for talks in the related disciplines through the submission of abstracts. Invited talks from users will be selected from the received abstracts, and will be included in the Wednesday sessions of each Microsymposium.
